TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
we consider as an important agent
of change which not only would help the company to achieve
competitive advantage but also ensure the all round development
of employees.
At present following types of training
activities can be carried out:
A) INDUCTION PROGRAMME
We have a three-tire induction
programme.
At the level-1, HR dept brief the new Joinee about
the company policy , culture, mission, structure, reporting
authority etc and introduce him with the employees of the
company.
At level-2, the Dept head brief the new Joinee about
the Dept procedures , work ethics, Inter dept- Protocols.
At level-3, the immediate superior or Colleague will
help the employee to acquire the Job specific skills required
to perform the job.
B) TRAIN THE TRAINER
In this training programme, certain
employees from various locations are identified who have
the ability to train the juniors and operational persons.
C) TRAINING TO JUNIORS AND OPERATIONAL
PERSON
After being trained on how to train
the juniors and operational person, these people back at
their location train them on products, services provided,
handling various gadgets, effective work methods, required
behaviors, how to refer to recknor and different activities
D) MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
This is an essentially external
training programme conducted at various management institutes
or professional bodies. Few employees at the senior or middle
management are identified along with the areas where training
is required. They are sent for the programmes as and when
related Programmes are conducted.
E) SKILL TRAINING
This training programme is conducted
for all those employees who regularly come in contact with
the customer.. In this programme the employees are trained
upon attributes related to the skills in terms of interacting
with the clients, providing efficient and quick services
and being empathetic with the client's problems irrespective
of their behavior.
